This piece is from my 2018 show "In My Baba's Garden", I have taken floral images and restyled them into an embroidery pattern. one of a kind, signed.

I was fortunate to have grown up knowing both set of grandparents and from them my cultural heritage. My one grandmother had a beautiful garden, she could grow almost anything & cook the most scrumptious food, the other was an extremely talented embroiderer, this series was dedicated to both of them.
