shallow square plate

7 x 7" shallow slump tray/plate .75 high t the highest

This piece was created in my home studio just outside of Winnipeg with imported artisan glass cut with mosaic cutters and reassembled to represent red flowers. The piece is fired in my glass kiln for 24 hours, placed on a mold & back into the kiln for another 24 hours to create the shape as it "slumps".  The colours are all translucent with the exception of the white flowers and the odd green leaf and red petal.  In the centre of each white flower is a pop of sparkle in the form of dichroic glass.

This plate is food safe, but does not tolerate extreme temperature changes. Please wash in warm soapy water, dry and place anywhere where you need a pop of colour.
