wide brim shallow small platter

A very colourful contemporary small platter, created in Winnipeg using imported artisan glass, fused in a glass kiln at high temperatures to create a stunning useable piece of table art.

The stripes are matched with bold blocks of stepped colour. The platter from rim to rim is 10 x 10" the center dip is 4" square and the depth is approximately 3/4"

These trays have been created from imported artisan glass in my home studio just outside of Winnipeg. The glass is cut into pieces then arranged in the pattern, fired once to fuse the individual pieces together and then again to give the bowl its shape. 

These pieces are food safe, but does not tolerate extreme temperature changes. Please wash in warm soapy water, dry and place anywhere where you need a pop of colour.
